Analytics and orders

The Analytics and Orders menus in the Revolut POS web app provide valuable insights and tools for managing your business. These features enable merchants to monitor sales performance, view transaction history, and streamline operations.

Home page

When you log in to your POS web portal, the first screen you see is the Home. It provides a high-level summary of your business performance with visual charts and key metrics like total sales, recent orders, and top-selling products.

While the Home dashboard is perfect for a quick overview, the Orders and Analytics menus provide the powerful, in-depth tools you need for detailed analysis and transaction management.

For a complete guide to the dashboard itself, see our Get started: Your POS home dashboard page.

Orders

The Orders menu provides a comprehensive history of all payment activities processed through the Revolut POS.

General analytics

The main Analytics menu contains the following reports:

  • Total sales over time: Track daily sales with details like refunds, discounts, net sales, taxes, service charges, tips, and total sales to monitor overall performance.
  • Total sales by payment methods: See sales split by each payment type to understand customer preferences and payment trends.
  • Total sales by fulfilment type: Analyze sales by fulfillment method and related metrics like average price, quantity sold, tax, and total sales to optimize order handling.
  • Tax reports: Get a summary of tax rates, taxable income, total payable tax, and overall tax amounts.
    caution

Revolut does not determine your tax obligations or submit taxes on your behalf. The tax report is not a fiscal document, and we recommend consulting a qualified tax advisor to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.

  • Total sales by products: Explore sales by product name and category with details on average price, quantity sold, total tax, and revenue.
  • Total sales by categories: Assess category performance through quantity sold and total sales to guide inventory.

Staff analytics

In the Staff menu the reports help you monitor employee performance and working patterns:

  • Total sales by staff: Monitor individual staff performance including total sales, transaction count, tips received, and average sales size.
  • Tips by staff: Track tips per staff member alongside sales and transaction data to evaluate service quality and incentives.
  • Staff hours worked: Review staff working hours, total shifts, and average shift lengths for efficient workforce management.
