# Install the Revolut Gateway for PrestaShop plugin

Learn how to install, upgrade, and uninstall the **Revolut Gateway for PrestaShop** plugin.

## Install the plugin

You can install the **Revolut Gateway for PrestaShop** plugin manually by following these steps:

1. Download the plugin `.zip` file for your PrestaShop version:
   - **PrestaShop 1.7+:** [Download the latest plugin `.zip` file](/assets/plugins/prestashop/revolut-gateway-v2.9.15.zip).
   - **PrestaShop 1.6:** [Download `revolut-gateway-v2.9.0.zip`](/assets/plugins/prestashop/revolut-gateway-v2.9.0.zip).
1. **Log in** to your PrestaShop dashboard as an admin.
1. Navigate to **Modules > Module Manager** from the left sidebar menu.
1. Click the **Upload a module** button in the top right corner.
1. Drag and drop the `.zip` file you downloaded or click **Select file** to browse your computer.
1. Wait for the upload and installation to complete. Once done, click **Configure** to set up the plugin.
1. Follow the steps provided in the [configuration page](/docs/guides/merchant/accept-payments/no-code/plugins/prestashop/configuration) to complete the setup.

PrestaShop 1.6 support **stops at `revolut-gateway-v2.9.0`**. Newer plugin versions support PrestaShop 1.7+.

## Upgrade the plugin

To update your **Revolut Gateway for PrestaShop** plugin, use the version compatible with your PrestaShop installation:

1. Download the plugin `.zip` file for your PrestaShop version:
   - **PrestaShop 1.7+:** [Download the latest plugin `.zip` file](/assets/plugins/prestashop/revolut-gateway-v2.9.15.zip).
   - **PrestaShop 1.6:** [Use `revolut-gateway-v2.9.0.zip` (latest compatible version)](/assets/plugins/prestashop/revolut-gateway-v2.9.0.zip).
1. **Log in** to your PrestaShop dashboard as an admin.
1. Navigate to **Modules > Module Manager**.
1. Find the **Revolut Gateway for PrestaShop** plugin in the list of installed modules.
1. Click the dropdown arrow next to the **Configure** button and select **Uninstall** to remove the old version.
1. Confirm the uninstallation when prompted.
1. Once uninstalled, follow the [installation steps](#install-the-plugin) to install the new version.

Uninstalling the plugin may remove its configuration settings. Ensure you have noted down any important settings before uninstalling.

## Uninstall the plugin

To uninstall the **Revolut Gateway for PrestaShop** plugin from your store:

1. **Log in** to your PrestaShop dashboard as an admin.
1. Navigate to **Modules > Module Manager**.
1. Find the **Revolut Gateway for PrestaShop** plugin in the list of installed modules.
1. Click the dropdown arrow next to the **Configure** button and select **Uninstall**.
1. Confirm the uninstallation when prompted.

The plugin will be removed from your store.
