# Check card details

Check whether a card or a saved payment method can receive disbursements, before you send funds with the [Create a disbursement endpoint](https://developer.revolut.com/docs/api/merchant#create-disbursement).

The response includes the country the card was issued in, its brand, and its disbursement capabilities: whether it can receive disbursements at all (`eligible`), and whether the funds arrive within minutes rather than days (`fast_funds`).

This operation is available to merchants with the gambling merchant category code (MCC 7995) only.

POST `/api/cards/details`

## Request body

### Attributes

- `type` (enum)
    The type of the evaluated destination.
    Possible enum values:

    - `card`
    - `saved_payment_method`
- `value` (string)
    The card number (PAN) when `type` is `card`, or the saved payment method ID when `type` is `saved_payment_method`.

## Returns

### 200

Card details checked

#### Response attributes

- `country_code` (string)
    The ISO 2-letter country code of the country the card was issued in.
- `currency` (string, optional)
    [ISO 4217](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217) currency code in upper case.

- `brand` (enum, optional)
    The brand of the card. Returned for Visa and Mastercard cards only. Omitted from the response for other card schemes.
    Possible enum values:

    - `visa`
    - `mastercard`
- `disbursement` (object)
    The disbursement capabilities of the card.
  - `disbursement.fast_funds` (boolean)
      Whether the card issuer supports fast funds. When `true`, disbursements to the card can arrive within minutes rather than days.
  - `disbursement.eligible` (boolean)
      Whether the card can receive disbursements.
